Florence Crittenton Services "Miles for Moms" Run/Walk 5K & 2K - Denver, CO - Florence Crittenton Services of Colorado. Florence Crittenton Services of Colorado invites the community to participate in the 2011 "Miles for Moms" Run/Walk. Participants in the 5K and 2K races are encouraged to form teams and raise funds to help Florence Crittenton Services’ mission to help teen parents raise healthy families. The event also features a family festival with a brunch, children's face painting, friendly team competition, a prize raffle and more
Held annually on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, the “Miles for Moms” Run/Walk, Parent Pathways’ biggest and most visible fund-raiser of the year, celebrates moms with many family-fun activities and special prizes. Almost 500 people from throughout the Denver metropolitan area participated in 2009, raising more than $30,000 to help struggling teen families create healthy cycles. . The race will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 9 a.m. at Central Park-Stapleton, Festival Area, E. Martin Luther King Blvd. and Xenia.
