Participate in a mountaineering adventure while raising money for Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of under-resourced urban teens through transformative outdoor experiences:
The Grand Teton (13,770 feet) is one of the world's most beautiful mountains. Since 1968, Jackson Hole Mountain Guides has provided mountain guiding services on the Grand and in many other locations throughout the West. Under the direction of our highly experienced mountain guides, the Grand is a thrilling mountaineering challenge and an unforgettable experience.
Our 3-day Grand Teton climb involves a 14 mile roundtrip, 7,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, extensive scrambling and fifth-class (5.6) climbing on the way to the summit. On the first day, we gain 4,200 feet on the way to Corbet High Camp. Located below the dramatic East Face of the Grand, our secluded and pristine camp is a great place to relax and enjoy the incredible views. On day two, you learn and refine the technical rock climbing skills needed to ascend the fifth-class terrain on the Grand. The third day is summit day. An early morning start is required for this spectacular and rewarding day. |
