Detailed Description

1. Please note all entries must be registered online. To enter go to
www.r2sports.com Any entries called in or dropped off at Glass Court must
be completely filled out and legible. All entries must be paid in full.
In addition phone entries will be charged a $5 handling fee. Entries also
available at www.illinoisracquetball.com Late entries will be accepted at
the tournament directors sole discretion. Please get your entries in
early as draws will be limited.
2. In order to help keep the entry costs from increasing, and keeping the
hospitality at the same level you have come to expect, we have adopted a
new rule used by many other state associations. The rule is that the
winner of a match is required to referee the next available match in order
to move to the next round.
Eligibility:
ISRA/USRA membership is required of all participants. Non-members will
be required to purchase a membership for $50/year or $20(one tournament
only) on site.
Starting Times:
Times may be obtained via internet www.r2sports.com or call Glass Court
(630)629-3390 after 7pm, Wednesday November 16th. Matches may begin as
early as Thursday night, 6pm. Matches will resume Friday at 4:00pm.
Consideration will be given to players from outside Chicagoland area.

Consolation: We regrettably cannot offer consolation, due to the large
draw. All players who lose their first round match will receive a ten
dollar certificate towards our Summerfest Tournament, July 2012.
Referee Information:
Winner must referee the next scheduled match or you will be forfeited.
General Information:
• Irt rules apply for all Men’s Pro/Open matches
• USRA rules apply; matches will be 2 games to 15 points, 11 point
tiebreaker, if necessary.
• Directors reserve the right to reclassify or deny any entrant in the
interest if fair competition.
• Licensed, approved eye guards are mandatory for all players.
• Towels available with a $2 refundable deposit. Please bring your own lock.
• Six entries are necessary for each division at avoid cancellation or
combination.
• 1st round match non-winners (except top seeds) in the Open Singles, will
automatically move to AA division. No AA division for Doubles
• No children (under 14) will be allowed in the club without direct
supervision.
• Please note: Men’s A-D singles and B-C doubles could start on Thursday
night after 6pm.
Prize Money Information:
• Cash prizes will be pro-rated with less than 16 entries in Pro/Open
Singles Divisions and 12 entries in all other singles divisions.
• Cash prizes will be prorated with less than 12 teams in all doubles
matches.
• Doubles prize money is per team.
• All finals matches must be played during the scheduled tournament
weekend to receive prize money.
• Novice divisions will receive gift certificates for 1st and 2nd place.
• Any divisions with less than 6 entries/teams will receive gift
certificates (no cash awards) for 1st and 2nd. Divisions of 4 or less
will receive gift certificates for 1st place only. A minimum of 6 players
in AA divisions are required to hold prize money.
