750m Swim/12M Bike/5k Run
Triathlon returns to Evergreen! Not since the Evergreen High Country Triathlon drew athletes and media from around the country in the 90’s has a triathlon been held at the beautiful lake in this small mountain community just 20 minutes from Denver. The Ultimate Direction Evergreen Sprint Triathlon gets started with a brisk 750 meter swim in Evergreen Lake. Next, an amazing 12 mile bike ride that starts alongside Bear Creek before the scenic and challenging climb up Witter Gulch and Stagecoach. It will all be worth it as you make quick time down the final 5 mile return trip to the lake. From there, a scenic 5K run, post race food from El Senor Sol mexican restaurant, and merchandise to the top-3 in every age group courtesy of title sponsor Ultimate Direction. For the top-3 overall male and female finishers there will be $1,000 in prize money!
