Detailed Description

Race happens on parts of the cross country course used by the high school cross country teams at Central Park in Saugus. It is a well grooved, hilly, challenging, dirt course but fun and very rewarding once finished. If you like 5Ks but need a break from pounding the payment then this is the race for you. For the most part if you have family, friends or fans wanting to come support you, they can see you running/walking the course most of the time since the hills loop around the park. So in essence this course is spectator friendly.

Friendly atmosphere, casual and wearing green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day is very welcomed. Overall winner prizes and age group prizes included.

KUDOS: This event is gelled together by the one and only Tony Cota, a Santa Clarita resident in the SC Runners Club and a member of Team Runners Lane.

REGISTRATION FEES Pre-Registration (By March 5th) is $21 "Run Only"- $27 with Race T-Shirt. Race Day- $25 "Run Only"- $30 with Race T-Shirt. Special Youth Rates: 17 yrs. and under Pre-Registration is $15 "Run Only"- $21 with Race T-Shirt.
