Rhythm gymnastics combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, theatrical dance and apparatus manipulation such as ribbon wands, scarves and balls. As a sport, rhythmic gymnastics began in the 1940’s in the Soviet Union where, for the first time the spirit of sports was combined with the art of classical ballet. Grades 5-8.
Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
When: Tuesdays, June 10 – July 29
