Fly Fishing in San Juan River in Alburquerque New Mexico - Albuquerque, NM - City of Albuquerque, NM. What: Experience a fun, relaxing, wet, and slimy sport. Fly Fishing is a life long sport that teaches fishing skills, patience, water safety, ecology, and techniques on the river. This sport can be enjoyed alone or with others. Outdoor Recreation will teach guests how to fly fish safely using the newest equipment and latest techniques. When: Recreation Event Dates
Who: There are twelve spaces for youth aged 11-18.
Cost: The cost is $40 per guest.
Where: We will meet at 1801 4th St. NW (Parks and Recreation’s administration building) at 1:00 PM. Then we will drive the group to Navajo Ministries where we will set up camp, and proceed to an outdoor Shakespeare play (put on by the City of Farmington). On the following day we will be on the San Juan River by 10:00 and be taught how to fish by guides.
