Detailed Description

April 25th will be our 8th annual 5K Run/Walk. Runners will begin at 8:30 am with walkers following at 8:35 am. Trophies are awarded to the top 3 overall runners. Certificates and prizes are awarded to the top three runners in each age category. The categories are in 10 year increments. Pre-registration is $15 if you register before April 17th. Race day registration is $20. This is an event the whole family can enjoy. Whether you are a serious runner or a casual walker. The event raises money for our local Mentoring Makes a Difference program. The Mentoring program matches an adult volunteer with an elementary or middle school student. They meet at least one hour a week for an entire year. We also hold a silent auction in conjunction with the run/walk.
